The 11th General Lykio is a general orientation High school in the city of Heraklion Crete. It has about 500 students and 45 teachers. Its character is open to society and it comprises a music band, a environmental awareness group, a creative writing club, a Drama club and various sport teams (volley ball, football, basketball)
We live in an ever changing world where the follow up with IT technology in anything and everything we do both in our everyday life and our studies/jobs is a must. Therefore, participating in such a project will give the opportunity to all the participants (students and teachers) to keep in touch with the latest developments in ICT. Another important benefit –especially for the students- is the fact that they will have the chance to meet and interact with peers from other countries, as well as the fact that they will visit foreign countries.
